| snow plows
Tis the season, and with all the powder I have really been thinking about buying or making a plow for either my Sawback or for the SCX10ii D90 I will finish building early January. The rc4wd plow is a little out of my price range, and I am not interested in paying over a hundred for an integy product either. I haven't had any issues with any of the Xtra speed stuff I have bought, even though it is definitely not high-end. They do however have a plow kit on rcmart eBay page for under $75 CDN with shipping. https://m.ebay.ca/itm?itemId=382292169721 Anyone have any experience with it? Just wondering how it bolts up as it says trx4 as well as scx10. I assume I could also make something, although it would be nice to have a product to work off of. All in all what did those who have tried them think of RC plows. A complete gimmick that doesn't really work or a fun way to shovel your driveway as long as the snow isn't too deep? |

I have no experience with this, but Xtra Speed stuff is fine. I think I'm going to order one. Thanks for the link! |

No problem. Definitely the cheapest option I've come across. I ended up ordering one, so there is still one left. Rcmart tends to restock quickly though, even if you miss it.

Nice find on the XtraSpeed snow plow Bad thing is, snow will stick on aluminium, but this can be fixed. No snow plow, but at least snow-related: the snow blower from spyker workshop: https://spykerworkshop.com/ Seems to be a very nice piece of work. I would love to have this one for my BlizzardMog... |

That looks awesome! I have not seen it before. As far as the aluminum goes, I had planned on building a new blade within the first week or so of having it, out of 26 guage steel anyway. Figured the aluminum would drag too much on the pavement. Last edited by MrBlank; 12-23-2017 at 08:20 AM.

I ordered the Xtra Speed plow from RCMart. It was on sale for $39.99 today. It was under $50 shipped. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk |

Awesome! I envy your U.S. pricing. Mine was $73 and change CDN. I did however receive a whole bunch of stuff from Amazon I ordered on Thursday, including 6 pairs of Gmade Steelies for $90 inc. Tax and free shipping - they were all last pairs, two of one style and four of another, no matching colours.

I used the aluminum RC4WD plow for a bit last season...a quick spray with WD40 and the snow was not sticking to anything. Never really had a problem with it sticking to the pavement IIRC. I had thought about a small delrin strip along the bottom for that very purpose, but never needed it. Worked well, though I wish it could move side to side. Anything over 1 inch piled up quick. Added a bit of weight to my rig and it did great. |

Rc4wd one here too. The little jeep works well for plowing the snow out from under the vehicles. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I used the rc4wd one as well, but didn't like the plow part thought to small so I used the bracket and my a plow part. Works pretty well. think you can get just the mount with out the -plow -part. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S8+ Last edited by sharkattack99; 12-25-2017 at 02:43 PM. |

You may be interested in the plow systems I offer. New Vendor I offer plows for different vehicles, in two styles. Rotational and static angled. I have been using the rotational here in Maine. Intentionally being rough, with no breaks. |

Xtra Speed snow plow on my TRX-4. I love it, works well. I tried mounting it to my front bumper, it works better with the supplied mount, lol. Here's a short clip of the snow plow in action. https://youtu.be/GFGyUBQgnuc |

this one was made with a modified Bender SW2 crawler chassis, narrowed Masher tires, and pvc pipe and a steel edge for the plow. Works great... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dckKmPm6bAc |
