| 3D Printed Items for sale
My name is Robert. I have enjoyed the RC hobby for many years. Modding, tinkering, creating comes with the hobby. I also enjoy 3D printing. The need for parts in the RC hobby fit very well with the ease of creation in the 3D printing hobby. I offer a number of parts. I use them on my own vehicles and now offer these parts to the public. Items are made to order, thus processing time will be 24-48 hours. Please place orders at http://store.technically-inclined.com Store is new, please bear with any issues / changes that may be made. Orders via PM are fine as well. Thank you for your interest. Last edited by robertjpjr; 12-26-2017 at 08:45 PM. |

Very nice so far! Personally, I'd love to see TRX-4 sliders that allow mounting of regular sized mini servos for the shift and diff functions, opposed to the essentially proprietary traxxas size. I'm thinking specced to something like the popular Hitec HS-85MG, which would also allow the waterproof HS-5086 servos to be used, as they share the same dimensions. link to servo specs for refference: HS-5086WP Metal Gear, Micro Digital Waterproof Servo | HITEC RCD USA). |

Shouldn't be too hard to accomplish. I'll put it on my agenda. I appreciate the feedback! |

Also, it might actually make more sense to spec to the mini servos, like the HS-5245MG. Or, even better, poke your head in this thread, Options to replace Micro Servo's? and announce your intentions to design a piece built for a more industry standard spec. I'm sure you'll get lots of great input on a servo that fits the overall need, but isn't overkill or taking up too much space. I'm betting you'll get more customers there too. I spent some time pondering on how to make the TRX4 sliders and still maintain stock compatibility. I don't see a way. I may readdress the issue at a later date, but for now I will not be making a product. There is just too much going on in the tray area. |
