| Samurai/ Jimny Bodies
Is there a person on here that makes a zuk body for the SCX10 chassis? Does any one sell them? Best way to try and make one if no one does? Would there be a demand for them? |

cool preciate it. What about a chevy/GMC stepside? Just wondering as I see alot of the same bodies on here just with different paint jobs. I was readin one post about local hobby shops not supply to the crawlers but yet if the crawler crowd is that big wouldn't there be more selction of 4x4 bodies? Or is it just stuck on everything jeep like the real world? |

Trail Ranger is the closest production body, so far. But its long wheelbase, which was never sold here, and it'll look HUGE next to the vehicles with "larger" bodies when your Samurai is the same size as an F-350. Take a look here Post all your Suzuki Samurai's!!!! SpeedwayPal has a sweet looking one for the Minicrawler that scales the body to about 1/10 even though it's 1/18 truck Either start beating the bushes at the companies that make lexan bodies, or hit up the styrene section and start working. |

there are 1:1 lwb zuks here in the u.s., but they are hard to come by. i have a trail ranger based class2 that looks pretty good, you could always just shorten the trail ranger body by cutting a section out of the bed. a friend from a vintage buggy forum posted this recently. looks to be about the same size as the speedpal version but with the top off. i have no idea when it was posted, but it says coming soon. I bought one of these. It's a Tamiya MF-01X basically a 4wd M chassis. Wheelbase is 225mm and its SKINNY! 165mm. I don't think you could shorten a scx10 chassis enough to make the body work. I know there was a guy selling 4 door pajero bodies. Not the same, but, pretty close. I'll have to dig up the site...

| Re: Samurai/ Jimny Bodies http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...656309&alt=web yea not sure if could use it, or try to widen it since there seems to be a lot of fabricators on here to make the body fit since it's metal |
