I've pestered them about it several times. They've said they're trying to get it out there but haven't talked about any dates. They've stopped responding to questions on the subject lately. I'm giving up on it too. |

A part of me thinks (hopes?) that it will be released someday. Before this restructuring, they put a lot of r&d hours and dollars into getting it as far as they did. It would be tragic for all that effort to go to waste. But, then again, maybe it will get axed. Business decisions like this just come down to the cost/benefit analysis and now this rig would be competing against the 10.2 which has quickly grabbed almost all of the market share in this class... IMO, they really should've jumped on this one first and gotten it to market before the 10.2 hit the streets. Now they're facing an uphill battle against a proven rig.. AMain lists the order date as December 2017. Give up now. HPI has years of mishandling their company and new ownership hasn't changed that. If you want something similar that you can actually buy check out the MST CFX and CFX-W. |

HPI just posted this on their Facebook page for the Venture: "we hope to have some official news to release soon, we'll share it here on the Venture Facebook page or on the HPI Racing site  "
