Default Fake shock reservoir ?

Does anyone have a recomendation for a fake remote shock reservoir and hose ,one that I can buy or make. I was thinking about plastic from a parts tree painted silver and a wire for the hose. Any suggestions .

Hey man.

I bought these shocks 80mm Alloy Aluminum Adjustable Piggyback Dual Springs RC Oil Damper Shock Red | eBay and just took the reservoirs off for my build, they arent functional or suit my build.

I could sell you them. A bit of oven cleaner should take the red off then a light sand. The hoses are M3 threadeds so you could even tap your shock cap if there was room....

I made these from parts laying around. SCX plastic "resi", a bit of wire and a small hole drilled in the cap/body. Still need to make resi mounts.
