I love my LC70 body. Killerbody did a great job with it. The opening doors with roll up/down windows is a novel idea, so I was excited to try this. So, here it is:

I installed a set of these, it ruined the the body & isn’t worth it.

The instructions are tiny & dificult to decipher. The roll up/ down feature is only neat for a little while, & doesn’t always work. There’s too much modification to the doors that removes critical mounting points (for when you realize these aren’t all that). The instructions call for the dash to be removed, because the inner panels collide with the dash. The inner panels need to be glued on, so if you are using CA (DON’T!) plan around fogging up your paint & windows. Finally, The doors don’t open that wide to really be useful.

The hood kit was OK. It Still had tiny & dificult to decipher instructions & didn’t open up enough to be useful.

I was hoping for the ability to open the doors & install the battery. The body pretty much needs to be bolted down to the chassis, so I was looking forward to hassle free battery changes. The doors or hood need to open much more than they do to accomplish that (for my preference anyway).
Killerbody needs to go back to the drawing board with this upgrade. Maybe include new doors that are already modified so that I can go back to the non opening doors if I choose.

After having installed it, I would have preferred a well thought out interior & dash upgrade kit instead.

You are so right about the doors. I wish I had never bought the door/window kits.
