converting slipper clutch to locked trans

Hey- Ive got my new-to-me Dingus trans all apart, raiding my old hoard piles trying to dig out enough parts to convert it over to a locked trans like the old AX-10's were. I don't like, or want, a slipper clutch.

I found the upper shaft but what I can't find is AX30489, apparently is a small spacer that drops down between the motor plat adapter and the drive hub. I've looked high and low and I'm guessing that it's a NLA part. Has anyone else run a trans without this part, or have you found a decent alternative for this spacer?

Embarrassingly, it's been so long since I had a full locked AX-10 trans to take apart, I had to download the instructions from Axial.

Here's a listing from a reputable seller: https://m.ebay.com/itm/Axial-Racing-...10&_mwBanner=1 I'd be concerned about breaking the pin that the spur hub rides on if you tightened the nut down without the spacer. If it comes down to it, I bet K&S sells a piece of aluminum tube that you could cut to length.

Thanks. Oddly enough, I dumped out a different hoard bag looking for a different part and I found a NIP AX30499, SCX-10 grey versions of the part that I couldn't find.

I don't remember buying that bag, but it sure saved my bacon ! Apparently, that p/n is still available.
