| Hi-Lift leaf spring questions
Incase any hasn't noticed, it appears that you can just buy the Hi-Lift leaf springs on tower, and i was just wondering are the "A" springs alone firm enough to use by themselves for a trail truck?

with just the main leaf you'll get lots of axle wrap and snap the leafs before too long.

heres what mine looked like after a weekend in GA. txt trans and crawler system. when i got back i ran it 1 or 2 times and noticed the left leaf broke, took it out again in the snow where i broke the other one too. less than 8hours running killed em, but if you look i got lift blocks and no traction bars or antiwrap device. in the rebuild of it im using the main leaf and the smallest leaf, just for extra strength and no lift blocks. http://www.scale4x4rc.org/forums/sho...9&postcount=49 |
