| 1/10 Taxa Outdoors Woolly Bear trailer
I've been a fan of Taxa trailers forever (of their look at least, I don't own one). Decided to scratch build a scale version of their Woolly Bear, an off-road RTT trailer. All measurements came from their assembly and user manuals, laid it all out in Fusion 360 1:1 and then proceeded to build it 1/10 (a mistake really since rc crawlers are more like 1/9 - too late!). Since this is all in CAD, I 3D printed some of the parts: the fenders, cargo deck, the RTT risers, trailer arm and suspension. The suspension is my own design because I don't know how it is in the real thing. Other details: Wheels and tires are from the new MN Models G500. At 82mm OD they fit perfectly. RTT is not 3D printed. It's a cardboard shell wrapped in a poly mailer with a black styrene sheet as base. The Tepui vinyl logos came from RC Girl. Things left to go: Surface details on one side, spare wheel mount, rear bumper and lights (maybe). Then paint and finish! Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk |

Woah, nice work! Excellent styrene work! Also cool that you added a little 3D print work with it too! That rooftop tent looks awesome! I would have guessed it was store bought! It's great to see hand crafted pieces like this. Great job! |

| Re: 1/10 Taxa Outdoors Woolly Bear trailer Thank you! I really enjoy thinking about how to build stuff that makes you second guess a picture. I've built static scale models for 20 years more or less, so this project kind of scratched that itch, but I get to make it somewhat functional.

Printed and mounted the battery box, which actually houses a battery to power the rear lights. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk |

First shakedown run. Some issues with the arm stiffness but nothing broke! Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk |
