| Juggy Brushtruck
Its been awhile since I was on here. I started leaning more towards the scale side of R/C and learned a bit more about crawling. But anywho my lastest project is a Hilift/TLT hybrid Brushtruck running a R2 tranny and semi wheels wrapped in Flywheel boggers. First mockup of the bed http://www.rcpics.net/media/dually1---rcp1.jpg Front bogger http://www.rcpics.net/img/83818 Rear view http://www.rcpics.net/img/83819 Final design of the bed http://www.rcpics.net/img/83821 Front view with lightbar and snorkel http://www.rcpics.net/img/83822 Outside with first coat of paint minus the bumper, not made yet http://www.rcpics.net/img/83823 My favorite shot http://www.rcpics.net/img/83824 And a couple of test videos http://media.putfile.com/sdlighttest http://media.putfile.com/Super-Duty-Test-drive That's how she sits as of right now, had to pay the bills before I bought anything else. Still need to buy a radio and some micro servos before I can start on the final routing for all the wires. I guessed at the thread placement considering the wheel aren't 1.9 so if this needs moved my apologies |

Looks good! Needs some cool tube work I think to make it look really tough and arent those 1.9s? If they are I can move it to the 1.9 section if ya want |

Thanks everyone Quote:
Tube work would be cool but I lack the skills and the money for that right now. I think I'll just focus on the bumper in design, constructed of styrene. | |

I love Dually's Very nice work. It needs a small water pump. That way you can fill the mud bog from the nearby stream at the next comp. |

Looks like all you lack are some F-550 and PowerStroke stickers along with a beefy front bumper and you'll be set.

Thanks again. I shot the bed with a coat of semi-gloss (not to shiny) I'll try to get pics tomorrow, my computer went retarted on me so I had to do a "destructive restore" on it. But I did find me a radio http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...I=LXGAF2**&P=0 |
