Hey I'll do it. In fiberglass or carbon fiber.
I'd love to remake the Bruiser, Hi Lux, Mountineer, and Blazing Blaser bodys.
I spent about a month wasting time vaccum bagging, trying different molds ect until I came up with my own way force out the excess resin.
Below is a photo of a RC18t body I made from blue ssg "glass" also notice it is under cut in several spots vents, rollbars, bumpers and its molded top and underside.
Proline makes the body in lexan if you like it, these are not for sale Proline owns the rights to the pattern.

If you want to vaccum form bodys make the mold from hydro stone you can find it at your local gypsum supply house. Its awesome stuff and hard as ellh. Below is a photo of the mold I made for forming Vintage Boomerang bodys. You just mix it up and pour it into the original. I still have the original this mold was taken from, you'd never know I made a mold from it. And ist real fast, I made this in one day.

I really dont think lexan is the way to go, the fiberglass and carbon can be treated like a tamiya hard body. and far more detail can be incorporated.
If I had the original parts in my hand I could have several copies in 2-4 months.
Questions? Ideas?
How sweet would carbonfiber axles housings be?
