Check out the K2 chassis. There are some nice scale builds floating around based on the K2.

Yes, just check out some of the builds in the 1.9 section. There are several K2 chassis builds in there and most all use Leaf springs.

most all use leafs?! most all use 4-links on K2-3 series and good luck on getting a K2-4. the best and easiest frame to use with leafs is a diaz frame, the Dtrails are made for leaf spring suspensions, or you could get a bruiser frame or a torch and some metal.

Trail Beater chassis is available. Finally got all the components togeather and will be assembled and ready to ship by Friday. I took some frame plates to the comp this saturday and measured it with a bruiser. The fit was almost to perfect. I've also incorporated two squared braces at the front and rear for an easier servo mount, replacing the round braces that were there previously. I'll get some pics of the new set up like wednesday. jj |

Yes. After I went a looked a few pics of the WK axles it can be done. Defenatly have to mount the servo on the chassis so you can fit the leafs in there. You'll have to dremel off some parts but looks fairly simple to set up. I'd try to keep the raised plastic area that goes around the case, that would help keep the leafs set on the axles. Of course I'm going by pics at this point (don't have one yet) so I can't pin point the exact locations for mounting or the exact modifications that would need to be done. jj |

sorry there double j, forgot about your trail beater. if you want to use leafs i'd go with some tried and true leaf sprung axles, tlt or HL axles. |

I own a diaz, a K2-4, and a trailbeater. It really depends on what you are going for as to which would work best. I like each one and each one worked best for the application I used it on. |

This is what I got off the pics and what I'd mode to use WK axles and leafs. Make some u bolts to fit around the axle a plate to hold the leafs down and you're good to go. Not try to jack the thread but snail asked? |
