its possible it seems like it may be kinda difficult but doable. you would need to find tracks that are the right size, probably off of a small scale dozer or something. then all it is is finding a way to mount them and figuring out how to get small wheels with small teeth type pieces coming off them. then you would be all set

honestly - i think that this would be pretty easy... txt-1 front axle tamaya tank txt-1 tranny and custom frame landrover body and extra lexan... tada... |

I think matching the front and rear gear ratio would be your only problem. Either way, I don't think it would do so well on the rocks. I just have never really liked the tracked vehicles that much anyway though. Except.......did anyone here have the Fast trax (sp?) I had the red one I think. Man that thing was fun! |

the ones with tracks for each wheel... maybe you could use parts from trannys ? on tlt axles mounted solid to the axle soo the gears spinn but the bracket on the axle says put ? or you could use somthjing other then tlt axles for a full scale look

it would probably take quite abit of custom machining for the basic structure that hold the shape of the tracks, but the driveline parts can be taken straight from a cheap 'hobby grade' RC tank, such as a Hen Long the wheel with the teeth is called the sprocket or drive wheel, and the other wheels that just roll the track are called road wheels |
