| Is this a good kit to start a scaler rig with?
My budget is about 300 dollars. I already have speed control and remote. I would only need a reciever and motor. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXGA76&P=7 |

it's okay, but not ideal, better for trail running, i would get a 4x4 WK, and put a scale body on it, and go from there

A wheely king isn't scale. If you wanted one like that, the tourag is the best.

I have a pajero (same chassis as the tuareg) I wouldnt try for the crawling aspect of it. http://cgi.ebay.com/Tamiya-47201-1-1...QQcmdZViewItem $170 shipped 55t lathe motor $30 worst case $50 Stampede tranny http://search.ebay.com/search/search...trypage=search $50 in mis parts and what have you for links I know it doesnt keep you 100% in your range but delay a little for a little more cash and you can do a complete chassis for $100 more from Bender customs and also leaves you with a very very solid start for a capable crawler with a little more cash and few more parts (wheels tires and links are needed) Just my 2 cents |
