Default scale truck power

i have another project on the way, a 2.2 scaler. i am looking for power options and opinions. i run a hyperion in my comp rig and it twists and breaks anything it can. i dont need that power in a scaler. i was thinking of the mamba/revolver2, but i may not even go that far and just run a lathe motor. what are most people running in a scale rig?

I'm running a 45t in a wheely king tranny in my Bushwacker.Seems to do pretty well. Has pretty good wheel speed plus enough torque for crawling.I don't have much to compare it to but I like it.I'll be bringing it this weekend so you can check it out.

i have a 35 turn in one and a silver can mabuchi in another the lathe is alot better but it would depend on the scaler a 2.2 scaler will be alot more capable you will want a better motor i just like driving the truck muddin playin on easier trails and light crawlin i think a 1.9 can get away with alot less motor

I run a 35 turn with a stealth and I like it. Has a little wheel speed when you need it although I do want to try a Mag. Mayhem.

It is what I am running in my C-10 that I had at the last comp. You got a pic of it launching off of that rock.

If you do any kind of mud you need brushless. I'm liking my cheap GWS brushless motor, and mamba maxx.
