| scale ABS body sizes.
what are the typical dimensions for scale hardbodies. i have found a difference source for hard bodies but i dont know if they are any good or not. heres some dimensions of the Jeep Wrangler fully detailed hardbody: 31 x 14 x 15cm (12.2 x 5.5 x 5.9 inches) would this be suitable for 2.2 scale? |

too small, your looking for a 10.5 to 12" wheelbase, and 7.5 to 8.5" wide

apparently its 1/16 scale but the measurements were close to 12.5inches in length, which is why i asked about if it would fit. sure it wouldnt be a perfect scale fit but it would be close. cant really find any detailed pics but heres a few. http://besttoys4kids.com/images/02520-1.jpg http://autoaccessories4less.com/bruder/jeep1.jpg http://www.smartbuy.ro/cs-photos/products/83846.jpg JEEP Wrangler Unlimitedsteerable front axle, spring-loaded front and rear axles with 4 steel strings, detachable roof, doors and tailgate can be opened and detached, engine bonnet opens and can be latched with a swing-out holder, motor unit with many details, detachable backseat, spare wheel fixed on the tailgate, partly glazed driver's cabin, high quality plastics |
