| high lift bearing size?
I bought a high lift today. I want to build it while on vacation which starts tommorrow but I dont have the bearing kit. is it really necessary ? would it be too much work to add them later?

Build it and run it on vacation, then when you get back put bearings in. The trans would be easier to do now to avoid having to take it all apart.

| Its not very hard to add them to the axles later, but like Thor said, the tranny is harder. And actually if your going to use it for trail running and any water/mud, bushings are better for that.

I do plan on running it in the dirt, why would bushings be better? would they be better in the tranny and wheels or just the tranny ? anybody know what size bearings? thanks

Bushings are better for water because they won't rust up on you. I think I'd go with bearings in the tranny though. The bearing size for the H-L axles are 5x11, and 10 are needed for each axle. | |
