| Controlling a winch w/o a radio?
I would like to have a stand-alone winch system in my rig, controlled by a 3-pos switch on the truck. Is there a way to control a servo with a radio or receiver involved? Just a switch and a battery?

You can rip out all the servo electronics besides the motor and wire it directly to a switch. You would need an on-off-on dpdt switch (how to wire:http://www.eleinmec.com/figures/012_01.gif). For power you can connect it to the BEC or even the main pack if your voltage isnt too high. I would stay under 9v if possible.
