Default Bruiser leaf spring and chassis question

Okay I need to know how long a stock bruiser chassis is b/c the one I am building has been cut off some. I also need to know what different leaf springs will work on the bruiser. Towerhobbies still sell the jugg springs and I was wondering if they will work or not???? That's it for now. I am trying to get my rig as a roller.

Oh yeah, I didn't know that the stock battery packs for the bruisers were d cells. I have an original pack and it's pretty damn cool.

You have a pictures of your frame? does it still have both rear cross members? Juggy springs will work, they will give it a 1/4 or so lift from stock.

curve, I have been having a very busy weekend. I will measure my frame for you when I get home. It looks to me like someone hacked a good 1/2 to an inch of the front of your frame.

I need to measure a Bruiser body for someone else here too... Ill get answers when I get home from the PA comp I am going to.

Mine is all cut off of the front.. I would have to extend the chassis back out so I can have a spring mount..

Default Springs

On the springs, I have a question. I too noticed the Juggy springs on the tower web site and was wondering how soft they were as compared to the new hi-lift springs. The springs that came with my chassis are all different heights, the fronts look like they are sagged about 1/4"-3/8" and one of the rears looks like has been tweaked too. Anyway, I know that everyone speaks very highly of the Diaz springs, but I kinda want to stick with steel for now. So I am thinking Juggy springs, hi-lift springs, or the RC4WD softer hi-lift springs. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

And on the chassis could you use the front cross-member and some aluminum plate to tie back into the remaining frame. After the frame makes the turn down at the shocks/body mount it is pretty straight.

Thanks,
Tucker

just flatten out the arched springs to match the flatest spring. All the springs are basically the same. But the flatter the better

i think the best bet would be to get some c channel and replace the missing section. do you have access to a welder. it would make it alot easier. i know all of us here would be more that happy to assist you. if you get some pics of the section where it is cut off from, i can put a tape measure up to a chassis that aint cut as a guide. lmk
