Re: HH Cobalt Puller- Reborn page 35! thanks "thumbsup" |
Re: HH Cobalt Puller- Reborn page 35! I would need new motors for my 2.2 shafty. But i'm a little bit confused on the motor selection. At the moment i run team pro flow 30T. But losing 50g on the motor would be great. And maybe i'll change to NCD light weight gearbox too? So what puller motor? Rig weight is at the moment about 3lb 9oz. |
Re: HH Cobalt Puller- Reborn page 35! hi, got mines today "thumbsup" http://i1145.photobucket.com/albums/...2/DSC09035.jpg now it's time to connect with the mini Br http://i1145.photobucket.com/albums/...2/DSC08975.jpg http://i1145.photobucket.com/albums/...2/DSC08977.jpg Do i connect + and - to the motors and i reverse on esc or i inversed on one motor ? Don't want every thing on fire  |
Has anyone put one of these in a scaler yet? A lot of us are wondering how they stand next to a Pro4.... Not trying to start a debate - there is around enough threads for that. But guys are looking for comparison video between this, the Pro4, and the old cobalt pullers. |

The Puller 540 does make a lot of torque. Farmer swapped from a Pro4 to the 2700kv Puller 540 in his scale rig and seemed to really like it. The downside is brush wear. The upside is really good control and less parts breakage. Any faster than 2700kv and the brushes get gobbled up fast, but slower speeds wear very well. The 1500 and 2000kv speeds area really nice actually, and if kept clean they make lots of torque and rarely need rebuilds. I'm not really a fan of trying to build fast overpowered scale rigs with brushed motors because of the increased maintenance. The combination of dirty environments and really long runtimes just isn't ideal for our current parts combination. That is why we have Revolver S motors, and will be releasing another brushless motor specifically for G6 and heavy scale rigs next spring. While the Revolver S tops out at 2000kv, it can be geared really tall to get wheelspeed. The G6 motor will be 3000kv. |
Hi, how do I place an order on your site? It is saying not allowed to continue the checkout procedure evenly time I try and checkout. |
Re: HH Cobalt Puller- Reborn page 35! Take a screen shot of the problem and the screen before. Maybe you aren't logged in, maybe you aren't selecting shipping service. Don't know! |

Re: HH Cobalt Puller- Reborn page 35! You are on a mobile browser, they don't always play nice. Can you order through a computer? |
I have tried to place the order on my PC and the same error message will appear on the screen at checkout. |

Re: HH Cobalt Puller- Reborn page 35! any idea when the 400's will be available again? |
Re: HH Cobalt Puller- Reborn page 35! I'll see if we can put up another 20 before we start the Black Friday sale. I'm limited on how many I can wind per week, so I regulate inventory to 10 or 20 every week. didn't expect the 400s to be so popular. I got 50 cans made at first thinking it would be OK for a few months, but people are snatching them in a few days when I put up each batch. |
Re: HH Cobalt Puller- Reborn page 35! What would you recommend for a 2.2s currently around 3.6 lb using 540 size motor (Crawlermaster 16T with a LRP 2-mag can)? I am split between 400 puller or 500 puller Crawler type (5 seg). Does the 400 puller come with 5 seg arm? I like low speed control rather than out right speed and power. I really like the CM armature compared to another motor (torquemaster 35T Skewed with a 4 mag can), the CM is still much smoother compared to the skew 4 mag motor. |
Re: HH Cobalt Puller- Reborn page 35! What pinion size would you recommend for an old style 540 puller 10t, with 56t 32p spur, and on 3s? I was thinking a 12t or 11t would be a good starting place? Thanks"thumbsup" |
