custom battery pack with bigger cells like sub C with more than 1500 mah ... 3000 mah + would be nice! "thumbsup" |
LED lights and more NI-MH type battery packs"thumbsup" |
Go fast brushless stuff. For larger things. You and I have talked a little about the Mamba Monster Max, that's the kind of thing I'm thinking about. Stuff capable of pushing 1/8 scale MT stuff. |
a Battery building kit would be nice, And make buying lipos easyer, im still dont know what i need for lipo O.O |
How about a phone number to talk directly to you, when needed. Although you do a great job of answering here, it would be nice to be able to speak directly to someone. |
I'd like to see a vendor here carry the transceivers for Nomadio's. Soldering iron/station would be nice too, may save me from getting a Weller station from Grainger. |

I tried that, and there are 3 problems 1. I don't want to give out my cellphone number 2. I am not around my landline enough 3. I got so many phone calls that I couldn't get stuff done  I would love to be able to talk directly to my customers but unfortunately it doesn't work well. |
The Biggest and best customer service you could provide is : Product testing and feedback Just like you did with the Castle BEC "thumbsup" PERFECTO Do things like look up the hottest tire that is sweeping the podiums and sell it at a great price or product test the new stuff provide the feedback and then gives us the thumbs up to a prooven product to buy Your business should reflect who you are, a happy expeirence with great results ! Focus on Comp worthy products: Axles, trannies, servos, tires, rims, upgrade parts, etc. Radios tend to be expensive and there are many deals on them like ebay. For the low dollar stuff, stock the cheap hard to find parts I think the sport is growing to fast the most manufactures are just producing without much testing. And it Sucks to get something that breaks or just Does not Perform. |
i think your doing awsome as it is on your customer service jrh and i would just keep doing what you are doing. you answer pm's as quick as possible and answer anyones questions. |

i know that you said you couldnt put your phone number up, but what about something like an AIM screenname? or are you away from your computer for to long of a time? |
My aim SN is in my profile, good luck catching me on there. I spend an average of 2 hrs a day responding to email and PM already, so catching me via PM or in a thread is the best bet. I have an ask question thread in my forum too. |
Hey JRH, I was looking around you're site and couldn't find replacement brushes and springs, maybe that could be something to sell, I know there are several different types and cuts and spring rates but a few common ones would be good"thumbsup" |
how about spur gears 48 and 32 pitch |
How about a "drop-in" dig setup for us fabrication-challenged folks.......or a drop-on fiberglass or lexan canopy for scalers?? |
I would deffinatly also like to see some radio and receivers, I would love to see them in 5, 6, or 7 channel pistols. And x2 on the parts from the ax-10 kits, like the bolts and stuff. |
Re: What would you like to see in Holmes Hobbies I know I'm kinda late but I think a "certified pre owned" electronics section would be nice if you bought used stuff and rebuilt and tested and sold at a good price Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
Re: What would you like to see in Holmes Hobbies I'd like to see a motor leads option drop down added for all the new brushed motors. Keeps me from having to call, get a paypal invoice sent, log into PayPal separately to pay, yada yada yada. It'd just be easier to add leads from a drop down then add to cart and checkout. Secondly, did I hear you say you were working on a new ESC similar to the MMX with a programmable aux wire? If not consider this my nomination. |
Re: What would you like to see in Holmes Hobbies RCC T-shirts (large) , my old one is worn out "thumbsup". |
