Please make more mini-sized crawler motors! There is currently nothing available

Re: What would you like to see in Holmes Hobbies

You have motors, ESCs, BECs and servos. Maybe pinion gears and quality servo horns would complement those. Perhaps custom length servo extensions with decent wire gauges would go well with your servos or you could offer a selection of different length servo cables attached to the servo.

I'd like to see an option for the connector of your choice for all motors purchased individually instead of just leads. Something like you have when buying a combo but with a choice of lead lengths.

As a Holmes Hobbies loyalty customer ( ordered from Amain Hobbies ) I always wanted a hand wound brushed motor. The only reason help me back was I just couldn’t find a good V-block lathe machine( I have also had no idea which one should I buy and which model works best for me ) If you Holmes Hobbies does sell one in near future, I am sure I will buy from you. SMC batteries, hardened steel gears to go with your powerful motors.

I really like the motor recommendation page you have now, but I would like to see more comparisons between your motors. A chart maybee compareing similar kv motors of your different lineups so we could see differences in power, torque at low and top end, slow speed startup startup. Dosent even need to be in real numbers. Something like what the old transformers toys had rating each section from one to 10 would be great.

Like this:

if you remake the mamba max or a new speed control, I would appreciate a crawler break that takes longer to engage, I like the hobbywing 1080 that kinda does this. I have initial throttle set to the slowest/lowest, and same with the break. but still the break goes to full lock too fast, something like 3 seconds to fully engage would be good (but more adjustable, like just type in a time in milliseconds or something). I want the full break on hills and such, and a smooth break, right now I don't know how to get both.

I agree that waterproof LEDs lighting kits would be awesome!

Radios and receivers would be great too!

And effectively, maybe motors and ESCs (brushed and/or brushless, whetever...) for Micros and Minis Scalers/Crawlers would be real cool!

I know it's not a big segment but I see people rivaling with custom builds and upgrades to be able to get more out of their ECX Barrage 1/24 (and those 2 clones which I can't recall names right now) and other small rigs... (I'm one of those by the way :ror:)

I also like the suggestion of the drop-in DIG setup, pretty neat. 8)

Batteries, chargers and raidos would be nice. More of a 1 stop shop for my crawler shopping

Ever thought of branching out into other RC types? Fast electric RC boats are in dire need of quality motors and escs. As far as escs what's available seems to ether be somewhat unreliable or exorbitantly expensive.

John, please consider a "Holmes" motor for the tiny trucks..ie 1/24 scale etc. Only you could do the tiny trucks justice.

I’d like to see what Holmes hobbies would do with scale lights.

They would be bright af and I imagine you could hit a button and they would change color all slow and trippy .

Standard voltage budget servo would be cool too. Something in the $60 price range and ~400 oz .12 response time at 7.4v.

Please can we have a sensorless 550 size 2000kv revolver?

Lighter weight crawler motors
Silent Brushless motors

Options to send in or DIY for shrinking Torque master XL ESC

Battery lead how to for MOA's so when something goes wrong you can re program your ESC individually.

I feel like everything here has a product already except silent brushless.

Lightweight crawler motors = Brushed Puller series
Then there the various stubbies in brushless as well as the snubnose revolver

Heck there even a 380 sized Revolver now, I've considered that for a radical lightweight build

Paired down torquemaster is available but i have doubts modding is even a possibility. I think they pot them with epoxy so a tear down would likely not be possible without destroying it. BR Mini ESC

The BR Mini Dual has 2 leads (I dont know how else you'd do it), programming just takes removing one of the red wires to program the other ESC and vice versa.
BR Mini Dual
