That thing is super wide. It'll probably look more proportioned once you get it stretched. Good start.

Well i am waiting on my carbon fiber to arrive so i can cut my chassis.. Links are on the way so i am getting closer.... Couple questions... 1. do you run the foams or not in the tires? My other trucks i didnt but not sure on this one. and i saw someone had the tranny on its side, i like the idea is there any side affects from this? |

I haven't noticed anything negative assocciated with clocking the motor. I don't like the idea of just laying everything over because it ends up so wide. A lot of guys have the motor hanging out the side of the chassis waiting to get hung on a rock. | |

Ok I am gonna ask a silly question, what is clocking? Personally i think having the motor/tranny laid down is to wide to plus the angles of the driveshafts are off and look lik they will bind. Just my 2 cents

Then you can mount it in the chassis a few different ways. Or if you have a different chassis: |

I didn't have any problem with it in the stock chassis. The body covered it so anything that would've caught the motor just slid over the body. In the new "manta" chassis, it doesn't even stick out. Either way, it's a lot better than just laying the entire tarnny and motor on it's side and having the entire motor hanging off the chassis. Check my thread for more pics.

| Definitely just to lower the cog. Maybe to make a more compact package? You gotta get rid of those wideners. think it would be too wide even if you ran 40 series. Last edited by smcurry83; 02-24-2008 at 05:44 PM. |

| With-out seeing pics of the mount and where the servo hits the shocks, I can only guess. Try mounting your shocks on the outside of the lower shock mount instead of the inside. You should be able to make it work.
