Default Mods 4 WK trans to make it like AX-10

want to lower CG on custom WK by moving motor any ideas ? maybe just get an AX 10 trans

I modified the motor plate to sit sideways. the motor sits on either side of the spur gear. If u wanted, u could clock the tranny for the motor to sit even lower.

What chassis are you using? Could you post a picture of that in the chassis?

I have a clocked tranny in my K2-3S. I can't take credit for it but the motor sits on the top of the skid plate and the tranny goes over it. It looks a lot more like a buggy/ax10 tranny. I'll get pix tonight.

I have been thinkign of doing something like this for my king. Im doing a budget build rig for my brother with my old king and im down to the tranny.

Buy an AX-10 tranny.... I tried the WK tranny in one of mine and found the gearing to be too high to produce much drag brake. I ended up with a AX-10 tranny and it worked alot better.

Same here tired the clocked motor mount and everything still didn't help me any. plus it didn't help i bought a TCS X-trail chassis but i already had the AX-10 tranny for my Manta build. My 0.02¢

I wish I could build somthing like that looks real nice I was able to make a new motor plat that mounts the trans also will try to post some pics I work ok but the lower skid is 3.625 wide by 1.875 long I was hoping for 3 but o well not even sure if that is good or not so tell me is that extra wide or do most girls like them that big
