For my links on my comp rig I use 6-32 allthread sleeved with 1/4" brakeline. It works really good, I have yet to break a link and I have been running them for about a year.

I use 3/16 brake line... the inner hole is the perfect size to tap with a 6-32 tap, then thread the 6-32 rod into the brake line and finish it up with some Traxxas rod ends

I also used 6-32 allthread and 1/4 brake line. If Lowes doesn't have what you are looking for try your local Napa, thats where I picked mine up.

I wish I knew that. I got 1/4 alum tub from tower hibbies and taped it with 8-32. They are working great. I will have to looking into brake tub for the tuber I'm slowly working on.

If your going to make links with all-thread I would suggest buying 1/4" round stock delrin (black or natural) and drill out the center and then slide the allthread through it. It slides way better than brake line on the rocks and is plenty strong... On mine I used 8/32 stainless allthread with Revo rod ends.
