| WK Widow chassis problems
I really need some help with this problem. I built a drooper widow chassis to replace my old low profile version, but now I have about .5 inches of clearance with a droop setup My question to you is "How can I get a higher ground clearance without drastically changing how the rig handles?" Here are a few pictures of the rig just to show you what i'm up against. As always, all help is greatly appreciated Here's why i'm skeptical of going to a sprung setup |

How long are those shocks? They look pretty short...

the only way to get your ride height up is to make your shocks longer, I would go back to a sprung/semi-droop style shock. Otherwise, if your set on using the shocks set-up like that, you will have to have a shorter wheelbase

Go with some longer shocks. Other than that, it looks good |

First...make sure you're not longer than a 12.5" wheelbase. If you are good at 12.5", then your shocks are too short. Having the links straight or bent makes no difference. |
