| HPI crawler conversion question?
I was reading the rules for crawler competitions and I have a silly question about my WK now. What is the wheelbase of the WK with the HPI crawler conversion? Where is it measured from? Second, what size do the Pro-line Eight Shooter beads with the Hammer tires fall in? 2.2, 1.9? I forgot to check into all this before throwing all the packaging out. And, like a dope, I started building my crawler before I read the rules. Thanks all.

Measure your wheelbase from front wheelnut to rear wheelnut. The Prolines you have are 2.2. |

An easier way to measure wheelbase that we use in 1:1 measuring is hook it in the front rim and measuer to the back of the rear rim

I measured from wheelnut to wheelnut. It's just about 12" on the nose. So I am guessing with 12" wheelbase, 2.2 wheels/tires, 2 wheel steering, no dig, ect that my WK would fall in the 2.2 class correct?

I like it alot. The crawler conversion + the eight shooter beads + the chisel tires have all combined made this the favorite r/c I own and I have touring sedans, trucks electiric and nitro, helicopters ect. I can't get enough of my WK. And if crawling ever got old, a faster brushless + lipo and softer suspension and this thing would be such a fun bashing truck.

soon as i get mine finished i will try to get some picks up. just waiting for my servo (hitec645) and body(hpi defender). also thinking about a decent paint scheme that i can handle with the air brush. i painted my tvp's digger green with clear coat, i think they look great with the purple hpi shocks. |
