This thread was opened last month, but, I can't see this crawler doing very well. It's set up identical to the original WK....top heavy, battery is in the front but up high on the chassis as well as the motor being high up too. May be good to use the axles etc etc, clock the motor plate and use another chassis. Just my opinion since I have a wheely king that I put the crawler conversion kit on, which still didnt do very well crawlng. It wasnt until I clocked my motor plate and got a new chassis and lowered the battery that I noticed a difference.

You don't have to crawl competitively with it, it'll make a good basher rig that can later be used for a "real" crawler. To be honest, htere are times I have more fun with my stock chassised Wk that my AX10 comp rig.

BJoe - you are absolutely right, didn't mean to sound like I was bashing the stock WK.... it has A LOT of potential. I think my build turned out pretty good using the WK parts.

Good looking rig Brent, I've thought about doing putting an Axial chassis on a second one I have at home, or after looking in another thread, trying the SW10 chassis I even have a lexan Lunchbox body just waiting to get cut up and have some candy and pearl paint with some metal flake laid on it
