| WK Popping noise
When I get my wheels jammed up and give it some gas I start hearing a little popping noise which sounds like a gear slipping/stripping. What is the likely point where this is coming from? Thanks in advance. |

I think it could possibly be your slipper gear inside your tranny but to be sure you would have to take it apart and check it could be any gear in the truck slipping. Since you said it happens only when the tires are jammed up then I would say it might be one or both of your axle differentials.

most likely your slipper is worn. WK Tranny Fix this is a sticky at top of WK page, read it.

I just experienced the same problem, and it turned out to be the rear differential gear set. at least that is what I experienced and it wasn't the tranny. if you have four wheel drive you will most likely need to look into both ends.
