1.9 is more scale. 2.2 can be cheaper, has more tire, and wheel choices. 2.2 will give more height usually, but will make the vehicle sance wider - good for balance, bad for scale appearence. So I guess it depends which you are leaning more toward. It its pretty much a trail rig 1.9 is fine. Personally, I went 2.2 for a little more light crawling ability.

Do you have the standard chassis? Id go with 2.2's then. I will find a pic of my trail rig. Last edited by entropy; 03-21-2011 at 01:45 AM. |

I was looking into a scale chassis for my WK too, the stock gearbox takes up so much room vertically and throws the weight way up top...I'd like to use the clocked motor mount, 2.2's and make a chassis scale to 2.2 tires based on the same layout as SCX10 and then worry about a body later. (slash body?) If I were making a Grave Digger model, then the WK chassis is perfect!!, but normal on/off road trucks all have the ladder-type frame (SCX10 style)... |

a ladder-type frame is what i want to do , in this days i will start building it and i really don't know what to do whit that tire because in our country whit shipping cost me 33 $ , and maybe i will wait until me wife gives aprrovel to buy tires and rimes from rc4wd , but it will take time for that |
