Default Hosstyle WK Gravedigger

I saw this on @bay and just had to buy it. Seeing as my first WK was purchased the first week that the WK 4X4 came out and only lasted a day or two before it was stripped down and built into a crawler. So I thought a monster truck would be fun. I also picked up a Gravedigger body. So time to strip it down and paint the chassis green.

Alright...the chassis is painted green with 500 degree engine enamel. Time to start putting it back together.

i think it would look cool if you went with the traxxas monster jam wheels and tires. they look alot more scale than the ones you have

Ok...I got the frame and parts sprayed green and put back together. I also painted the center of the wheels black so they look closer to the real ones.

Still need to paint the suspension arms silver.

And it needs electronics.

I know it is not perfect. But, for a 1 day conversion, and costing about a $100. I think it looks good enough for what I am going to do with it. This is going to stay mostly stock. Just something to have some fun with. And if you are going to have a monster truck....might as well make it a Gravedigger.

Hey, thanks guys.... Yeah, it is amazing what a little spray paint can do. I got the arms painted silver. I still need to figure out how to mount the body. The body posts do not line up with the holes that are already in the body. And I don't really want to drill more holes in this body. I am probably going to make an adapter plate for the body posts. Might use velcro, so it looks clean. This will most likely end up sitting on the shelf more than driving.

Sand the "Mud thrasher" off of the tires with a dremel. Looks good bud
