| Stock Steering Link replacement
Hello Guys, Looking for some help and a little bit of sage advice and hobby knowledge here... I need to replace the first steering link from the stock steering setup: It has a smaller pillow ball (2mm???) than the Traxxas rod ends (3mm) I have on hand. I also have the STRC aluminum center steering link that I just ordered and want to keep the stock steering geometry in place: I know that the stock rod end from parts tree 85257 fits into the STRC piece: Question is, are there any rod ends out there that would fit into that STRC piece? I know I could just get that parts tree and I would have the rod ends I'd need, but I don't need the extra parts that come on it. Last edited by bpare207; 05-07-2015 at 12:50 PM. |

i cant see your photos but i assume you are talking about the real small rod end i think its on the bottom of the bell crank on the trans or maybe the top? but eaither way i would just get the parts tree its good to have the extra parts and i cant think of anyone who makes one that small. maybe look at ones for 1/18 scale cars?

i am not sure what the width is on the balls for them or what it needs to be to fit the bell crank on the wk but you may be able to run them without the ball and just make a bushing out of some plastic tubing that could work too.
