I still say you should have bought a 4wd kit to begin with. That would have kept you in your budget a lot better than having to buy up parts to make that 2wd a 4wd.

I agree, the 4wd rtr is the way to go. Unless you can get the 2wd model for REALLY cheap.

I seem to remember him telling me he traded at a LHS for his roller Savage that I originally sold him.

Hell, I should have just swapped you out for my WK, Floyd.

Cool. Find your dang camera!!!!! You got me back on track for a WK build. I was getting distracted by a couple TLT's I've seen for sale but I think I'm going to try a WK for fun as a comp rig.

We'll see if I can make it out this weekend. I haven't had a chance to work on anything but fixing the pinions on the TLT. Scored a deal on a used WK and a conversion kit though. Came in a lot lower than a 4x4 and it was used only a couple times (suuuure it was.....). Either way, it led a charmed life before I picked it up! Gonna do this one as full comp as possible and hammer it!

My WK shipped from Florida on the 5th and just showed up yesterday.... I think there was a guy carring it on foot with his thumb out and a cardboard sign that said "Albuquerque" on it!
