Thanks for the comment lunchbox, i agree with the noise thing of the mambas and bl set up, the first time i used one was last year on one of my clods, and when i got it rolling for the first time, i was like wtf!, i though the motors were binding or something was wrong with them, but then i got some time with it and more bl setups from JRH and i got used to it, i also have some Novaks systems and a quark with outrunner and they don't make the noise these mamba make, so if you are interested on a bl talk to JRH he can hook you up with a "quieter" bl setup |

So after trashing my tuber aluminum panels for a while, i decided to make some lexan panels for it, they are painted underneath, that way the paint doesn't get scratched up, only the upper part of the lexan does, the pics show one set in yellow, not my best work , i will add some stickers also, but i will drive it like this nonetheless, it has the losi rock claws mounted on buggy wheels, i also had to go back to the slipper in the tranny, as non of the machine shops were up to the task of making some aluminum gears.

| talk about bringing and old thread back to life, so anyways, i haven't used this rig much, being that it has a 14.5" wb and used as a basher, i kind of got tired of the yellow look so i thought i would give a change in color, i went with red, the beadlocks are junfac and tires are imex( pretty sticky for an imex tire), onto the pics.(sorry for the first dark pics) |

What are the specs on the outrunner? I have an AXI and I was wondering how it would compare. I would be using it as a basher type truck also.

You would have to ask JRH at holmes hobbies, i remember it being a 3014 model, can't remember the kv on this motor, i am not sure if this one is the exact same motor but should be close. http://holmeshobbies.com/product.php...&cat=19&page=1 The Holmes Hobbies Crawlmaster is made with the crawler in mind. Sealed can protects the motor from dirt and debris. 1/8" shaft and 25mm bolt pattern assure that the motor is a bolt in affair for near any crawler. **due to large and powerful motor diameter, some gearing combinations may not work or gearbox trimming may be needed** 4.25 ounces 1000kv 6-12 cells nimh 2-4s lipo 200*C max operating temp Near 1.5"x1.5" construction Sealed can All Black Mamba max or Quark 33 recommended |

Well i have done some work to the wk tuber, not sure if i'll keep this chassis, i narrowed the track width with some narrowed pede wheels to about 10 1/4", not bad for a wk, but then i decided to try some 1/10 front buggy wheels and got down to 9 1/2" , check out the pics. pede wheels buggy wheels |
