Default Motor Issue

Hi Guys:

I'm putting in a Integy Matrix Pro Lathe Motor 35T in my project WK...

Is there a big differance from that to the 55T I see people running???

with the 35 turn lathe you will notice an increase in rpms vs. the 55 turn. but with the increase in rpms you lose torque. depending on the gearing of the wk's internals and how you gear it at the transmission i'd say you'll be fine.

if you go with the 35T i would recomend getting a 15 tooth pinion gear and a 96 tooth spur to help with the torque. i added the latter 2 with my stock wk motor 27t and it was a great inprovment. with a 35 youll be loving it....

you can always tune the motor to have more torque... what you need to do is go a little softer on the springs. i would also put some reedy 767's in it if they are stand-up brushes put the equvalent from reedy in there.. also put the smallest pinion you can on there... but overall you will like how the 35t performs it will have more overall power to get you out of certian spots when needed. just my .02 cents
