Was a tlt now it is a wheely king. Sniper inspired first pic is tlt and that configuration didnt work well. so I revamped the shock and link mount locations for droop setup but I like the springs in for bashing around. 12.5 wheelbase Locked wheely king axles clocked trans stock esc and radio gear 55t lathe motor custom made 2400 s/c nicd 6 cell battery from cheapbatterypacks homemade links E-savage drive lines t-maxx shocks home made servo mount lexan panels with carbon fiber decals ram lights 9 volt |

Put my 2.2 stompers on to see the difference. I like it. These tires dont grip as good though. But the clearance is good. Sorry for the blury pics

So the Moabs have better traction than the Rockstompers? What type of terrain do you use it on?

| No comparison the moabs are far better than the rock stompers for traction in every situation I've had them in so far. The stompers are very firm and dont squish like the moabs or masher 2ks. So far I've ran the stompers on quarry type boulders and some metal grating. I like to run my rigs in the summer in the high desert where there is alot of lava type rock which are very sharp. I think the stompers will work good for these rocks. the other tire grip to much and bind up. But I love the clearance and the looks so I cant complain to much, and I think there will be a softer compound coming out soon |

Good to hear your thoughts on the rockstompers. I always thought they looked a bit 'stiff' in the promo pics. It will be interesting to see if the softer compound makes any difference. Cheers, JK |

Thanks. I like how the stompers look, and I also like the height. I guess we'll have to see if the next generation is better. | |
