Default Wobbling spur gear....Need alum. gear hub!

Attn. Vendors!!!

I'm sure there are more of you out there that have a spur gear hub that came from the factory out of whack, and causes the spur gear to wobble.

Is there a vendor already making an aftermarket gear hub for the WK tranny?

Or, what are you guys doing to correct it?

Mine wobbled a bit when I first got it because the screws were loose. Tightened 'em down and it went right into place. Either that, or pull the hub off and check for any little pieces of extra plastic in there.

you can add washers under the bolts also to spread the load across the spur gear

crank down the screws and or use spacers like previously stated it will work fine after that.

When making adapter please put the traxxas bolt pattern on it as well as the stock one.

Mine still wobbles after washers and tweaking, switched to a 32 pitch for strength and no problems since plus I can gear down lower w/ a 72 tooth spur w/o clearance issues

part # 72039 Prevents spur gear wobble and keeps the gear mesh true.

24$...............I havent had a problem yet. Thats almost enough for an AX-10 tranny or enough to set up the pede tranny I have back in LV. I found it now after some further searching under the discontinued Super RS4 parts.

As I said above, no one will have it but HPI, you will need to call them to order it

Not that I looked much for them specifically, but where did you find 32 pitch spurs to fit the WK trans? What's the diameter of the 72t spur you have?
