Default Best steering setup for stock chassis?

I'm looking for the best steering setup for the stock (reversed) chassis. I'd rather not do an axle mount, because the servo limits the up travel of the axle, and I'm not doing as much hardcore crawling, as I am jumping and general bashing. I already have the Integy aluminum 90*steering arm. I was thinking about just getting the aluminum replacement upper link/steering setup. Hopefully that will take most of the play out of it. I also need to upgrade to a 645mg servo. Any ideas and pics are greatly appreciated. Thanks again to all.

Honestly, I think you'll spend more on aluminum parts to make the stock servo mount position work acceptably than you would just getting an axle mount and leaving it alone. When you can get the rccarguy servo mount for under 15 bucks (if I recall correctly) why would you throw 50 or 60 at the integy parts?

What about using a smaller (mini size) servo mounted on the axle? how much tq is necessary to turn the front wheels with the servo right on the axle? I'm assuming if I can find something with similar torque to a 645mg I'd be ok?

Good luck finding one. The most I've seen in a servo smaller than a standard size is about 65oz/in of torque, which isn't enough for the WK.
