Dang, now it's a mad dash for the finish line with the super lol. I still need 2 motors, another esc, and 2 bec's. DOH! None of my lhs have the freakin motors in stock.

Which brings me off topic...Why in the heck are novak 55's so much more $$ than the integy's? I'm down to the bottom of the wallet building these things lol

I highly doubt my super will be ready. Im going out of town this weekend and every free evening is spent working on the Jeep. Why do you need 2 Becs???

Do you mean Busse Woods Higgins Road location? The Main Dam portion of Busse Woods is actually the place we held our first comp of 2008, and there's a large sign at the entrance on Arlington Heights Road which shows Main Dam, I just don't want to confuse anybody.

Here's a map of the Higgins Road location:

Just last week the RT 72 location was closed near the rocks. We had to go to the Main Dam off of Arlington Hts Rd to crawl.

Somebody told me that they were trying to limit the amount of people in Busse Woods due to dangerous ice conditions, I guess they feared that people would try to go out on the ice?

I'm thinking everything should be open now.

Lets see... I finished second last comp with crappy small tires... Now I have kick butt tall tires. Plus, your truck will most likely catch on fire

Not so much, I've had 3 trucks come through my shop with dual 1/4 scales on them. One Bec has always held up fine without issue. Holmes had 5-6 normal servos connected to one BEC lifting 25 pounds or so and the Castle BEC had no issue. Not saying don't do it heck a little over kill never hurts. But, if it just takes up chassis space and adds more weight?

Yeah I'm ready for this comp. My super is still a parts pile though. I decided to do away with the dual Outrunner brushless setup. Outrunner cans would snag on rocks and stall. Which at Busse I guess it doesn't matter because you almost never snag on rocks. J/K If I get motors ordered for it I'll bring it. I don't feel Integy motors are up to snuff though. I mean it would be a replica of my bergs powertrain spinning tires twice as big. After buying a lift kit for my Xterra I'm short on cash at the moment. But, I do have my eyes on Holmes handwounds.

Son of a biatch. I gotta work. Mandatory overtime AT STRAIGHT PAY! I'm so pissed I'm sick. I've been busting ass getting this super ready and now my stupid work screws me over. I told them I had plans and they said if I don't show I better have a new job lined up.

Hardy har har lol
Yea, I'm my own worst enemy. That and all things electrical lol
When it's my turn for some reason I start shiking so bad I think I'm gonna drop the stinkin controller. Like it's my first time. When I'm out on my own, I have no probs but my brain is weird. Maybe a little too much welding fumes.

yea we hear that everyday. We're hurting bad they say. Then they tell everyone we HAVE to work a 60 hour week next week cause we are so behind. I think it's all a bunch of bs. They use the economy as a excuse so they don't have to give raises or anything.
