Panthers are what I like.

Chisels is what Jetboat likes.

Rovers are what Ced Rc likes.

Tires its a preference thing.

I'd wait for the new Losi Comp Claws.

Sand stone can be tricky, I have some chunks on the "farm" course and it almost changes between rains. I have to say, I would wait on the Losi's, they promise to be a great tire.

FYI: eventBright dates have been fixed, feel free to go ahead and register

Registered for all 3...

We're going to get this scale stuff setup soon right? I think the scale comp we have on the calendar is before this event. Not looking forward really to setting the rules for that class. But, hey it needs to be done sometime.

I see were allowing 30 per class, whats the agenda as far as event days go?

IM working with Todd on the agenda, he rolled his truck last week so its been a little slow in making progress this week. He said this weekend will be spent working on the course/event so he said we should have some pictures this coming week.

There are no limits for the classes, only for the preregistration because of the limits imposed by eventbright. If more than 30 want to register I will help him get it figured out.

If anyone wants to throw out some ideas for the event, please dont hold back. Also, he should be at the Meeting/comp at Bob's house so we can all meet in person.

General rules we are looking at for scale class:
WB must line up with body (minor trimming allowed)
Full Length frame
No dig
Must resemble a real rig
Tube chassis' will be evaluated at time of event, pictures of the 1:1 rig are helpful.

Basically the scale4x4 rules.

here you go BUT be aware this is only a small sampling to show the type of rock not the size. I am being promised car sized rocks. There will be at least 2 tandem loads of slap rock limestone (its what they call it when its first blasted, before it goes to the crusher). There will also be several mounds of dirt built to help with elevation changes (similar to the "farm")

Looking for some volunteers to make a day trip up to move rocks....any volunteers?

I'm working on a self cleaning/spray adhesive system, still in the development stages though. Sand traps? No problemo.
