you need to start hanging out with the SCRC crew. We have Leisure Hrs raceway, Busse woods, Zion state park, Bobs House, we are looking for more.

raceway woods is a really nice forest preserve, named such because many years ago a REAL raceway was located there, some portions of it are still there, but it has been broken up. i even found an old V8 engine in the woods. it is located off of Rt. 31 and huntley road, with entrances on both roads. looking for a map

Thank You.

I found the location. It is about 20 minutes or so from home...nice distance.

I am curious if this is a rocky location, or more of a trail riding location? I just do not remember that area being rocky. If it has some nice rocky areas...that would be great.

I had somebody tell me about that place several years ago, never even thought that it might be a place worth crawling since then I'll have to ask Dad if he's familiar with that track in the past.
