So I went and played with the Losi for a few minutes and POP POP, both CVDs snapped at the same time. It had rolled over and I was spinning the wheels to flip it over when they snapped. (Must have been the shock of getting traction while spinning.)

Replacements are on order.

See you tomorrow. (I'll have the old tried but true Axial.)

I'm beginning to remember what I had to do to make the AX-10 into a reliable crawler:

MIP Drive Shafts
Axial straight rear axle and supports
Axial CVD
Heavy Duty Lockers
Machined diff gears, front and back
RC4wd R2 trans and DIG
Servo and battery plate
Four point anchors
Delrin skid plate
Alloy Steering spindles
Bent links
Springs
Alloy Shock bodies
Pro-Line wheels
Losi Rock Claws
Pro-Line Memory foams
Shortened MIP shafts
XC-1 body
and a whole bunch of little things

So far on the Losi:
Memory Foams
Bug Body
and now CVDs

Believe it or not, my wife is gonna stop by the comp with one of the dogs....it will be cool for the wife to see one of the "damn little trucks" on the rocks.

Supers are first.

Bubba, Ill bring some rope so we can setup a boxing ring for the kids

Josh, either princess is going to like the trucks and want one (doubtful) or she is going to be totally disgusted and want you to sell them all.

John, wife have the kid yet?

Don't start without us. We'll be late as usual.

EMERGENCY LOCATION CHANGE!!!

THere is a POLISH FISHING DERBY at the comp location today.....so we have moved to the main dam. The location is the entrance just SOUTH of RT 72 on Arlington Heights Road. We are parked near the bike trail where it goes into the woods.

even though my super is broken and I had to use a borrowed servo horn, I had a great time. I took something like 200 pictures so if you were in my group Im pretty sure I got a picture of your truck. If you were in Ceds group I might have gotten a picture of your truck. Once I get them all downloaded Ill post a link.

Score will go to Ced for the website tomorrow or Tuesday.

Another great time, thanks judges for putting up with our BS in the hot sun. I might maybe still be in the lead for the 2.2 championship we'll see. My rear shock blew out and caused the front to be all light and floaty and not on the ground. Looking forward to the Zion this Friday better get workin on the scalers I guess.
