Funny is that I have rebuilt the Scaler, and wanted to give it a try. Unfortunately, the gift that Jessica wanted for her birthday was the Carrie Underwood concert at Ravinia on 8/29. I just cannot make it to both.

Pretty sure the normal meet up spot.

Matt, Are you setting up both courses at once? I may try and get there to run them both but then I'll have to leave.

Jeff, 90 runs east west.....ya know even numbers east-west, odd numbers north-south, at least that is how it's supposed to be...

It's a long way down but I take 355 - to 55, then cut over to the east on state routes. Oh, and yes, you can google it. I actually might just try going straight down 47 and cutting over next time, just for exploring's sake....

At the portion he is at I believe its 90/94 which though it is an east/west road, runs north/south thru chicago... he will want to take the 94 leg when it splits and that goes right into 57 (which at that point goes east/west not n/s). Chicago roads don't follow the norm...

90 is an east/west route but as it goes through Chicago it is North/South before it turns back east into Indiana. (it also runs N/S in Wisconsin from Rockford up to Madison)

But as Jetboat said, from the city, 90 south to 57 south would be best. By Manteno turn west on CR9 then south on CR7 then west on rt. 102 to the park entrance.

A GPS or Goggle maps would also help you.

Can't afford the gas and entrance fee this week, so I'll be staying home regreasing the worms and spools in the Night Crawler.

I would of love to make this. I have never been the this spot. But Sundays don't work well for me.

I am using my one get out of hell free card for I-Hobby.

Have a super great time and get some cool pictures.

It seems that Sundays are turning out to be harder to make than Sat for most now. Something to keep in mind for next year.

I'll have the vid cam with and we'll see how the new spot works out.
