A stock Eliminator can safely run about 150# on dirt. I also have a modified Eliminator for carpet pulling that can hold over 600#. The sled you scored, looks like it should hold up for the TTC trucks well. (from the pic, I don't know if I would trust going up to 250#, not that you would ever need to on dirt) Just for grins a couple pulling comp pics: | |

This sounds like this could be a fun event. Is this invite only or can anyone attend. About how many people would you expect to attend this event. Can we bring cameras to film the event? I'm new to crawlers and scale trucks, not new to R/C though. I have bult driven and flown just about everything else. I always loved offroad so decided to build a scale truck. I should be building my new Axial scx-10 honcho kit tomarrow. I'll probably be building a RC4WD timberwolf shortly there after. I would love to bring one of them. any Idea on a event date yet? |

| I have to say something about this. The axial is awsome build it up, but if you want some sort of jeep tuber I would go to rcpcrawlers and get a wreckluse and use axial axles on it. I know from having a timberwolf and it's going through a rebuild right now so it will peform better.

So still working on the jk. Have gunnar toobs on order, have the super 300 pins, Robinson gears and one piece output, aluminum knuckles, ss links in delrin sleeves, 2.2 proline TSLs on weighted wheels. Waiting on alum Cs and lockouts. Still gotta work out battery and electronics. Think I am going HH BR-XL and HH 35t on 4s and 3s, depending on the obstacle. Next is to finish the bed, find a driver and make my bumpers with hitch and winch mount. Usingba bully winch. And in answer to someones question earlier, the TSLs are a bit taller, a bit wider and stickier than the roks, I'll bring both to our next outing. |

That is true, Eriks are CRMO which is a 41XX series in the Low Alloy Steel family of which 300M is also a member. Structurally very similar. For my use, Erik's are as good and his service is outstanding.
