nice. i'm going to allow this one cool item and then hammer you to do performance mods. unless you wanna put a boomin system in it... then i'll help ya!

did you get the bearing noise sorted?

i got a funky metal on metal grinding sound that i pretty much only hear while making sharp left turns in the parking garage that is driving me crazy. its got to be some lateral force thats making a brake drum or something grind against a backing plate. to me it sounds exactly like that... sounds like its on the driver side rear, but noises like that are hard as hell to diagnose while driving in a parking garage.

toyota dealership tried to tell me it was a result of a torn cv boot, but the sound has been there since way before the boot was torn, and its definitely not the sound a cv makes.

not sure what the noise is but it doesn't sound like metal on metal.

Yeah, I'll get the lift next, then tires (wheels) and then armor... or maybe armor first.

Should we keep "Revenge of the Cliffs" for our TTC name?
I'm going to start a thread soon for it... it's going to be big this year!

We're most likely going to have to shuttle some people up the hill to the Rubicon.
Do you think last years format worked good?

Day 1:
Hill Climb
Rubicon

Day 2:
Tank Trap
Sled Pull
Tug O War (should we do this again?)

I'd really like to figure out a Frame Twister and split the Tank Trap up into 2 events, Tank Trap (like last year) and a pure Mud Pit.

we can use the bmx track for a timed rally run... fastest 3 laps wins.

Maybe throw some logs and rocks in the way.

Well guys I just got handed another Costco to build...and it's not local. This time it's in Toronto. I'm not sure how this will affect my ability to travel or compete. I'm hoping that I can still make it to PA in August, hell Toronto may be closer to New Castle. All other comps are probably a no go for me. I'll just have to get a feel for it. I leave in 2.5 weeks.

What work do you do for Cosco ? I use to have a couple I dealt with for Miller. They have great employees they don't believe in reading expiration dates on anything.

I build the stores. I'm not on Costco's payroll. I work for one of their preferred construction companies.

Well we're a Canadian company so this is good exposure for me, they're bringing me in for a reason. I probably won't take too much time off. Lady Bird will go with me.

i'd keep it to traditional ttc stuff you mentioned previously with traditional scoring. last year we didnt score like we should have.

Congrats! I've been thinking about maybe possibly pulling the trigger on thinking about something like that sometime.

So 2 No's for the Rock Race?

I got the idea from watching that (or another) TTC video.
They came down a hill and then did a fast lap around a course that had some obstacles on it... EDIT: Obstacle Course I guess.

I don't remember exactly how we scored last year, was it 1 through 10?
I do know we didn't know exactly how to score some events like the Hill Climb.

I was thinking this year the hill climb could have 10 gates so we can mark progress points.
We could start with a little sidehill action and then head straight up and the gates would be wide.
