Good times at a really nice spot. They got a city permit for this comp, so the city knows that we were there. So no chance to get kicked out really. They said they GTG there all the time. We should too it is not that far, for the quality of trails here I took a few pics  \   great HARD hillclimbs on both sides of the creek too  The Winner! 2.2 class made it look easy  |

remember when i got a tf2 kit?... well is done. almost... i still gotta put in a heyok brake light controller and get a driver. also need some little vintage looking railroad or oilfield fleet logos.  pretty neat imo. 47 or so points as-is, not so bad given the bumpers and sliders are all plastic. |

helical gears installed, they feel pretty good. too bad i didnt have bushings while i had them apart. the outer axle bearing on the front is teeny... edit - i spoke too soon. the rear axle feels ok, the front axle i cant get to feel smooth... i spent a good hour moving shims around and just cant get it to the point where i can turn the pinion by finger with ease. if these damn axles fail after spending this much time and money on them, im gonna take a trip to cali and throw this god damn thing through their window.  i got plans now for tomorrow but you guys should check out pottywannapee. I do not know where to go. Lobo said his Honcho is broke down but he'd go... in the other thread. Adam knows where it is but not sure if he's going. If we do Foster, we can get wings and beers after in Evanston.  |
