Default anyone want to go on a crawling trip?

Flights are cheap right now and Chicago weather sucks...
we should pack up the rigs and head out for a long weekend.

Denver - 110 round trip
Portland - 200 round trip
Houston - 150 round trip
San Diego - 280 round trip

Might be cool... however not sure when I can get free, or how long, with starting a new job in a few weeks.

Denver is a great choice, I have to work a couple of weekends in December, but if you guys come on a weekend I am not working I wouldn't mind being a chauffeur and showing you some amazing places.

Fly in friday night, and stay at a hotel on the north side of town, I could pick you up at the airport. Crawl all day sat and sun, then I could drop you off at the airport sunday night.

That is exactly what I'm talking about!

I think that sounds like a great mini vacation... just a weekend of crawling with some RCC folks.

I still have 2 vacation days I have to use by the end of the year... not sure if the wife will let me go on such short notice though.
How about January?

if thats palmer lake its a trip from north side denver... its closer to the springs. i used to live off of hwy 105 which runs down to there.

colorado aint nothing like here, there is literally stuff everywhere to run on. it'd be like you have died and gone to crawling heaven.

Yes Palmer is by springs I believe. I have heard great thing of the place.

Red Rock does not allow crawling unless your the in crowd.

Ya I think Jason can pull some strings.

Dude, I'd hate to see you try and walk down a mountain let alone tumble down... er, ski down.

I'd do that too... I actually was looking at the schedules but don't see anything in the immediate future... I just want to get out of town for a while.

Palmer park would for sure be one of the stops, as well as Daniels park on the way and Route 72 and Flatirons the other direction. We might be able to do Red Rocks, but honestly most of those other spots are better.

If you want to come out for an event, that's cool, but you'll be stuck at 1 place all day. If you want to come and crawl we could do Route 72 and Flatirons saturday, and Daniels and Palmer sunday.

That sounds really fun Jason...
Anyone else in?
Maybe mid January, the 18th would be perfect but I could do other weekends too.

That that is true as event there with local's only are flipping huge to my standards.

Will you Hold up the Sally sign at the air-port?

I would really love to come out to meet some people out there.

I'm jealous to the guys who have wife's and girl friends that are understanding and let them go on stuff like this. Sounds like it would be a ton of fun.
