Default any interest in pulling?

I've been doing a ton of work on my pulling track for the July scale event and it is a shame to use it once... Any interest in regular pulls? It's located east of Champaign about 2 hrs south of the Chicago burbs.

Would love to. Finding enough people to come out to make it worth it may take some time.
You could get a couple scale classes going for starters. There are a couple pulling clubs around the tri-state area. Post up in the pulling sections on RCMT to see if anyone bites. Drop a flier off at Slot & Wing to catch any locals.

I've been talking with Mike at slot and wing and he is always gung-ho all for getting something going and then it never goes anywhere. I'll have to get back on rcmt and see who we can get going... I was pulling by myself this weekend and having a blast.

Hello,

I was just at the NRCTPA world championships in Ohio over the weekend. I was talking with ThunderVP about pulling in Illinois. Let me know when you guys would like to get something going. Jetboat, it looks like we are from the same town.

I have about 4 pulling vehicles and 2 more in the works. Also, I have a very scale pulling sled and 30ft track of yellow clay in my backyard. All we need are some pullers.

Sorry I kind of fell off the radar... baby #2 is due any day so I have been busy.

Im thinking we do some planning and discussing this winter and see what we can kickoff in the spring. If we could figure out the logistics of it, I would love to build a portable course we could set up at hobbytown and car shows.

right now i have a scale puller that I could modify for driveshaft class and a 2wd promod. Ive been working on an insane class but my mill is worn out so no building till I tear it down.

No worries. I had baby #1 back in March. I know how it kinda slows things down for a while. I'm still interested in getting some RC pulling going in Illinois.
