Went and looked around. Big ol bolder field at the dam. Had some promising spots, but a real beotch to get to. Especially with gear. Couple decent spots by the Cedar Cliff trail head. Sorry no pics of crawling they were all blurry. Just some of the rocks. This is a clump of descent rock at the bottom of the steps to the dam. These are the stairs to get to the dam. They are as steep as they look too. Oh and that's Master Parker,4. |

Where did all the big boulders go? Yeah those stairs are awesome. Right above Master's head there is a trail that walks the ridge line and crosses that land bridge. |

Well that pretty much it. Did the dam used to go all the way across. It looked like it had been pretty mangled by the flood. There was sand everywhere. We walked up to the lookout at the top of Cedar Peak or Bluff or what ever it was called, just below the cabins. I crawled just off the road leading to the parking lot at the trail head. That would be my choice to have a gtg. 20 yards off that road, the sand started. Probably 60-70 yards of sandbar.

Sounds good, look for a bright blue GMC with Gee Grading sticker and tool box. Probably start down by the river.

I will be in a rusty white ford with a stack and a flat bed. What time will you be down there?

Hit this from 11:30 till 2. Started at he mossy rocks at the trail head and ended up at the dam. The big rock pictured above was a lotta fun but just too small. The rock field around the dam was allright. Needed more people. MAKKEM and I had a good time regardless. Sorry you couldn't make it Cole.

Yeah my sister inlaw was baby sitting for me. About a half hour after she picked Shannon up I get the phone call. Shannon won't stop throwing up and is really warm. SO I go right over ask to see what she fed Shannon. Just some soy milk look at the back. Right there you gave her sea salt. She is allergic to sea salt. Gave her a lot of benny and about two hours later she was better. I would have made it down there if this didn't happen. Hope next time I will be able to make it. Glad everything worked out OK in the end. We'll do it again for sure. MAKKEM stripped his servo horn, both of em. I didn't break anything, luckily. We thrashed them both pretty hard. Everyone else is invited too when we have GTG's |
