Default I'm the FNG making my introduction

Been on this site a million times and never noticed that there were actually people relatively close to me that were crawling! I've been into r/c's for more years than I should admit, been out of the loop for some time now...but I've recently been bitten by the crawling bug. Even recruited the brother-in-law and nephew into the r/c world because of crawling.

Have some pictures up of my first rigs build up, and first time out:

Would really like to get together with some fellow crawler/bashers/whatever and have some fun.

And can anyone tell me if there is a shop anywhere closer than Sioux Falls that is car/truck/crawler friendly? Local shop in LeMars would rather spit on anything with 4 wheels than look at it. (strickly flyers)

Thanks and looking forward to getting together

iv been into crawling for less then a year but raced nitro monster trucks in Hadar Neb. for a few years and have been bashing for way too Meny years to count . we don't really have a shop here to speak of ... but we can order from it . Sioux Falls has a good shop with a great place to crawl at the falls but Omaha has the bomb of hobby shops and thats where the Midwest 2.2 challenge is being held.
i have been looking in to building a super shaftie using txt axles but i don't have anything but plans for now , would love a g-made stealth with txt axles. good to have more from Iowa on here

What can I say, I'm a slow learner!

That and the two rockbull chassis'd rigs were built using the axles from my original clods I bought back in, oh I dunno....'88-'89 (?) Seemed like a good idea to use what I had/knew first. That cj5 of yours is a slick machine btw
